口腔疾患予防学分野

国民の健康の維持・ 増進を目指し、重要な口腔疾患を予防するために、その原因と予防に関する研究および教育を実施している。
特に、社会疫学や公衆衛生学を応用した口腔疾患予防・ 口腔健康増進に関する疫学研究を行っている。また、口腔保健指導や健康教育、専門的な口腔ケアを実践するために必要な態度、知識、技術を習得できるような教育を行っている。

• 口腔疾患予防・ 口腔健康増進に関する疫学研究
  目的：口腔疾患の発生率やリスク要因を調査し、予防策の効果を評価すること。
  具体例：地域別の口腔疾患の分布調査や、特定の予防プログラムの効果検証。
• 健康格差・ 社会的決定要因に関する研究
  目的：社会的経済的要因が口腔健康にどのように影響を与えるかを明らかにし、健康格差を是正するための対策を考案すること。
  具体例：低所得層と高所得層の間での口腔健康状態の差異の分析や、社会的支援プログラムの評価。
• 口腔の健康と保健医療システムに関する研究
  目的：口腔保健医療システムの効果を評価し、改善策を提案すること。
  具体例：歯科医療サービスの利用状況や満足度の調査、保健医療システムの改革案の提言。
• 歯科衛生教育に関する研究
  目的：効果的な歯科衛生教育プログラムの開発と評価を行い、教育の質を向上させること。
  具体例：学校や地域コミュニティでの歯科衛生教育プログラムの実施とその効果測定。

特に、主体性・ 開拓力の育成、データサイエンス分野の強化、クリティカル・ シンキングの強化、国際性の養成、研究力・ 指導力の育成に注力し、専門的知識および技術をもって広く社会貢献し、指導的役割を果たすことのできる人材を育成する。

The Department conducts research and education on the causes and prevention of important oral diseases in order to maintain and promote health.
In particular, the Department conducts epidemiological research on oral disease prevention and oral health promotion by applying social epidemiology and public health. In addition, the department provides education to enable students to acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary to practice oral health instruction, health education, and professional oral health care.

In order to maintain and improve health and to prevent important oral diseases, we provide education that teaches specialized knowledge about the causes and prevention of oral diseases and preventive treatment techniques, and cultivates the ability to provide oral health instruction and health education.
In particular, we focus on fostering independence and pioneering ability, strengthening the field of data science, enhancing critical thinking, fostering internationalism, and developing research and leadership skills, and cultivate human resources who can contribute widely to society and play a leadership role with their specialized knowledge and skills.
