A delegation from Tufts University visited our university for continuing collaboration. Starting from information exchange and fruitful discussion on student exchange, the party observed clinics in our dental hospital and the simulation room.

March 27, 2018 (Tuesday)
A delegation from Maranatha Christian University visited our university for an information exchange and discussion on further collaboration.
Starting from an opening address from professor Noriyuki WAKABAYASHI, the party had a discussion with professors Sachiko ISEKI, Haruhisa FUKAYAMA and Ikuko MORIO. The party observed clinics in our dental hospital after the session.

May 19, 2017 (Friday)
On this day, an Egyptian delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt visited our university for interchange on education, research and talks of future collaboration as part of the exchange program between the Egyptian Arab Republican Congress and the Japanese Diet. The delegation consisted of Dr. Mona Abd-elatty (with interests in education and research of anatomy and embryology), and Dr. Ibrahim Said Ibrahim (Consul) and Dr. Hanem Ahmed, both from the Egyptian Embassy in Tokyo.
Following the greeting given by our Dean, Prof. Takashi Okiji and our Hospital Director Prof. Noriyuki Wakabayashi, the group went on a tour of the dental hospital, undergraduate class of Biostructural Science, and laboratories of Molecular Craniofacial Embryology. The tour was guided by Prof. Sachiko Iseki, who also discussed topics of interest to Dr. Abd-elatty.

April 3, 2017 (Monday)
The delegation from the Philippine Association of Dental Colleges (PADC) visited our university for information exchange on further collaboration. Starting from greetings from Prof. Tagami, Dean Okiji, Prof. Wakabayashi, Prof. Iseki and Prof. Morio, the party observed clinics in our dental hospital, the TMDU dental museum, a practice room and skills laboratory.

December 12, 2016 (Monday)
Prof. Mike Morgan, Head of the Melbourne Dental School, visited our university for information exchange on education. Starting from a discussion with our Dean Moriyama, he observed clinics in our dental hospital, student pre-clinical trainings and skills laboratory. After the visit, he gave a lecture under the title of “Accreditation of dental health programs in Australia” at TMDU.

November 11, 2016 (Friday)
Egyptian delegation from Armed Forces College of Medicine visited our university for information exchange on education. Starting from a lecture about education from professor Keiichi Akita, the party observed our dental hospital and facilities in M&D tower.

October 14, 2016 (Friday)
Prof. Tri Erri Astoeti, Dean, and Dr. Fajar Hamonangan Nasution of the Faculty of Dentistry, Trisakti University (Indonesia) visited TMDU to discuss further cooperation between the two schools. In the past, Prof. Astoeti visited TMDU in November 2010 and in June 2015. Dr. Nasution, who studied orthodontics in our graduate school from 1996 to 2002, now works as Lecturer at the school. We have started discussion on a collaboration agreement for exchanging faculty/staff and students.

July 12, 2016 (Tuesday)
The delegation from Bangladesh visited our dental school to find out about our postgraduate courses and the possibility of doing an advanced clinical training for foreign dentists during the postgraduate programs. Prof. Keiji Moriyama, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry & Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, and Prof. Takashi Ono explained to the delegation headed by Prof. Mohammad Shahidullah, the President of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), the features of our postgraduate courses and issues related to the advanced clinical training program for foreign-trained dentists.

June 30, 2016 (Thursday)
Dr Rodrigo Ferreira Carregal and Dr. Angela Machado Corradi from Itaúna University, Brazil, visited our dental hospital. After the brief explanation of the Faculty of Dentistry and its hospital by Prof. Noriyuki Wakabayashi, they toured the student clinic where they observed the Professor rounds for the Prosthodontic patients, thereafter visited the Specialist clinics for the Prosthodontics and the Maxillofacial Prosthetics. The two visiting dentists were guided by Dr Sumita, Junior Associate Professor of the Department of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, and were introduced to a unique facility of diagnostic face measurement system.

June 23, 2016 (Thursday)
Professors from CMU visited our university on 23rd June, 2016 for an information exchange on dental education. Starting from an opening address from Professor Moriyama, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, the party visited clinics in our dental hospital (Operative Dentistry, Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry), student clinic, student pre-clinical training rooms, and skills laboratory.

May 27, 2016 (Friday)
Prof. Sun Sun Win, Rector, University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay, Union of Myanmar, visited TMDU to promote a closer relationship between the two universities. Thirty PhD students in the field of dentistry and six in medicine now study at TMDU. As Myanmar has only two universities of dental medicine, she is well known to them. The attendants from TMDU were Drs. Junji Tagami, Takashi Ono, Haruhisa Fukayama, Kazuhiro Shimoyama, Ikuko Morio, Ryo Wakita, Keiko Fujii-Abe, Takashi Yoshida and Mya Nandar.

May 25, 2016 (Wednesday)
Prof. Mitsue Fujimaki (Cariology / Public Health) from the Department of Dentistry, State University of Maringa, Brazil visited Dr. Lisia Nishimori, who is a visiting researcher on a JICA program at the department of Cariology and Operative Dentistry. Her father, Mr. Luiz Nishimori, Deputy of the Parana Republic Party, also visited us to talk to Prof. Junji Tagami and Prof. Keiji Moriyama.

May 23-24, 2016 (Monday-Tuesday)
Dr. Om Kharbanda (Professor and Head, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Deformities, Center for Dental Education and Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India) visited us to observe treatment for cleft lip and palate at the dental hospital. He also gave a lecture on the current situation of the available treatments for patients with cleft lip and palate in India at the seminar.

On April 18, 2016 (Monday)
Thirty-five dentists from Royal Dutch Dental Association visited our university for information exchange on dental education. Starting with a lecture about dental education, the party then visited clinics in our dental hospital (Oral Implantology, Oral Surgery, Operative Dentistry, Periodontology, General Dentistry 1, 2 and the Dental Clinic for Sleep Disorders), and observed laboratories, including the student pre-clinical training and skills laboratory.
