To meet these societal demands, the center is committed to advancing oral science research that promotes preemptive healthcare, with a focus on the mouth as the gateway to holistic well-being. Our initiatives include the development of devices for assessing oral function, as well as the development and social implementation of next-generation dental materials.The center comprises three core divisions:•the Section of Oral-Systemic Health (Prof. Sayaka Katagiri),•the Section of Oral Devices and Materials (Prof. Masanao Inokoshi), and•the Kaneko Memorial Oral Science Joint Research FacilitiesBy fostering translational research based on interdisciplinary collaboration among medicine, dentistry, science, and engineering, we aim to establish dental treatment technologies that are not only more effective but also resource-efficient (in line with SDGs) and safe.
