https://www.tmd.ac.jp/osc/https://www.tmd.ac.jp/osc/en/index.htmlOral Science Center 東 京医 科歯 科大 学において、令 和 6 年 4月1日付けで、口腔科 学 研 究 に 特 化した 全 学レ ベ ル の 共 同 研 究 施 設 であ る「口腔 科 学 センター」が 設 立されました。超 高 齢 社 会 である 我 が 国 にお いては 、全 身 の 健 康と口 腔の 健 康 に 関 する 科 学 的 根 拠 の 集 積と 、新 たな 材 料・機 器による次 世 代 型 歯 科治 療 法 の 開 発・実 用 化 が急 務となっています 。本センターは 、このような 社 会 的 要 請 に 応 えるた めに 、口 腔 科 学 研 究 の 推 進 により 、全 人 的 な 健 康 を 守るゲートキ ーパーとしての口 腔 に 主 眼 を 置 いた 先 制 医 療の 開 発 、口 腔 機 能 評 価 用 デバイス 開 発 、および 次 世 代 型歯 科用マテリアルの開 発と社 会実 装を目指します。本 セン ターで は 、「 口 腔 全 身 健 康 部 門 」（ 片 桐 さや か 教授 ）、「 口 腔 デバイス・マテリアル 部 門 」（ 猪 越 正 直 教 授 ）、ならびに「 金 子 記 念口腔 科 学 共 同 実 験 施 設 」を設 置し 、医歯 理 工 連 携 を基 盤としたトランスレ ーショナル 研 究 を 通じて、これまで以 上に有 効 かつ 省 資 源（S D G s）で 安 全・安心 な 歯 科治療 技 術を確 立し、革 新 的 先 制 医 療としての「口腔 医 療 」を国 民に提 供 することを目標として活 動してまいります。 当 センター の 活 動 に 対しまして 、皆 様 のご 理 解とご 協 力をよろしくお願い申し上げます。口腔科学の発展を通じてトータル・ヘルスケアへの貢献を目指すContributing to Total Healthcare through the Advancement of Oral ScienceProfessor Keiji Moriyama口腔 科 学センター センター長 森山 啓司07 Director of Oral Science Center詳しくはこちら日 本 語 版Learn more(Japanese)詳しくはこちら英 語 版Learn more(English)The Oral Science Center — an Institute-wide collaborative research hub dedicated to advancing oral science — was officially established on April �, ����.In our super-aging society, there is an urgent need to accumulate robust scientific evidence on the relationship between oral health and overall health, and to develop and implement next-generation dental treatments using cutting-edge materials and technologies. To meet these societal demands, the center is committed to advancing oral science research that promotes preemptive healthcare, with a focus on the mouth as the gateway to holistic well-being. Our initiatives include the development of devices for assessing oral function, as well as the development and social implementation of next-generation dental materials.The center comprises three core divisions:•the Section of Oral-Systemic Health (Prof. Sayaka Katagiri),•the Section of Oral Devices and Materials (Prof. Masanao Inokoshi), and•the Kaneko Memorial Oral Science Joint Research FacilitiesBy fostering translational research based on interdisciplinar y collaboration among medicine, dentistry, science, and engineering, we aim to establish dental treatment technologies that are not only more effective but also resource-efficient (in line with SDGs) and safe.
