Institute of Science Tokyo will continue to pursue global development as “Science Tokyo”, emphasizing openness to international exchange. Science Tokyo, Faculty of Dentistr y embraces an educational philosophy of “cultivating healthcare professionals with internationally competitive skill sets and global perspectives,” and proactively responds to the international needs of research, education, and clinical practice. In accordance with the institutional policy aimed at advancing global engagement, the Faculty of Dentistry, Science Tokyo Hospital (Division of Clinical Dentistry), and the Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences (dentistr y) promote international exchange to correspond and contribute to achieving those key objectives.Since the conclusion of an academic cooperation agreement with Seoul National University, School of Dentistry in October 1983, Science Tokyo has concluded agreements with 54 dental universities and schools around the world as of April 2025. Science Tokyo actively welcomes international students from its partner universities and schools while encouraging collaborative projects involving researchers from multiple specialized fields. Our international activities are not limited to the academic institutions with which we have official agreements, and each field of study also engage in exchange with other overseas dental universities and schools, departments and labs.
