Professor Atsushi Takaichi Real Mode Lab in Building 2近年、歯科医療分野ではデジタル化が急 速に進 展しており、これらの動きは 総 称して「デジタルデンティストリー」と呼 ばれています。こうした時 代の流 れに対応し、本学歯学部では最 先 端の臨 床 現 場を見据えた教育を提供するため、2024年に「Real Mode Lab（リアルモード・ラボ）」を新たに開設しました。Real Mode L abは、最新鋭のデジタル歯 科 機 器とソフトウェアを活用して学 べる、デジタルデンティストリー専用の実習施設です。口腔保健学科の一学年全員での実習が可能な全40席には、それぞれに歯科用CADソフトウェアを搭載したハイスペックPCが 設置されています。さらに、移動可能なPCを含めると合計60台のPCと関連ソフトウェアが完備されており、これにより歯学科の学生全員が同時に実習を行うことも可能となっています。施 設 内には、模 型 用スキャナや口腔 内スキャナも用意されており、学生一人ひとりがデジタル機器を実際に操作しながら、最先端の歯科医療技術をじっくりと体験・習得することができます。Real Mode L abは、歯学 科では全 部床 義歯 補 綴、部分床 義歯 補 綴の 各実習に、口腔 保健工学専攻では全 部床義歯実習、デジタル金属床義歯実習、デジタル歯冠修 復学実習、審美修 復学実習、インプラント歯科 補綴学実習に主に使 用されています。また、歯学科・口腔保健工学専攻・口腔 保 健 衛 生学 専 攻による学 科 横 断 型の 合 同 実習にも活用され、学際的な学びを実現しています。口腔デジタルプロセス学 分 野 教 授 髙市 敦士2号館2号館Real Mode LabReal Mode Lab in Building 210Department of Digital DentistryIn recent years, the dental science field has seen rapid progress in digitalization, and these developments are collectively referred to as “digital dentistry.” To meet the demands of this evolving landscape, the Faculty of Dentistry established the Real Mode Lab in ���� to provide education focused on cutting-edge clinical practice.The Real Mode Lab is a dedicated digital dentistry training facility where students can learn to use state-of-the-art equipment and software. It features �� workstations, each equipped with a high-spec PC installed with dental CAD software, available for all first-year students in the School of Oral Health Care Sciences. A total of �� fully equipped PCs, including portable devices and dental-related software, enable all students in the school to engage in hands-on training at the same time.The lab also boasts a dental model scanner and an intraoral scanner, giving each student the opportunity to operate advanced digital equipment and develop practical skills in next-generation dental technology.The Real Mode Lab i s p r i m a r i l y u s e d f o r c o m p l e t e a n d p a r t i a l d e n t u r e prosthodontics practice in the School of Dentistry. Oral Health Engineering students mainly use the lab in Complete Denture P r o s t h o d o n t i c s P ra c t i ce , D i g i ta l R e m o v a b l e Pa r t i a l Prosthodontics Practice, Digital Fixed Prosthodontic Practice, Aesthetic Dentistry Practice, and Oral Implant Prosthodontics Practice. The lab also supports cross-disciplinary joint training in the School of Dentistr y, the Course for Oral Health Engineering, and the Course for Oral Health Care Sciences for interdisciplinary learning.
